You are all invited to gather at the Memorial Union Terrace for our annual summer book club on Wednesday, August 13th! We’ll chat about The Power of Participation: Creating Conferences That Deliver Learning, Connection, Engagement, and Action .
This is a low stakes chance to hang with other campus event producers before the Fall semester gets into gear. The book provides a toolbox of ideas on how to design engaging and participatory events/meetings – we hope it will spark ideas for your upcoming events. We know you’re all busy people so no shame if you don’t have time to read the book – we’d still love for you to come.
Weather permitting, we’ll enjoy the Terrace. Too hot or rainy, we’ll move inside. Either way, more details about where to find us day of will be shared in the Teams Chat on Aug 13.
